The May Day Poetry Project

Introduction	I'm a writer and editor, and now most recently a PhD student in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I'm poetry editor at Geez magazine (send me your poems!). My first poetry collection, Happiness Threads: The Unborn Poems, was published in 2013. Lately I've been making visual art pieces for the shows I'm part of with the Artist Mothers at Mentoring Artists for Women's Art. When I write poems I've been making erasure poems from one of my favourite cookbooks from my childhood, Whole Foods for the Whole Family. It's fun to play around and experiment with different voices while I look for my next poetry project.
