| Favorite movies | Pride and Prejudice (any version),The Cutting Edge, Star Wars, Double Switch (if you know this movie, you're either in my family or one of the other few coolest people on the planet). Most Disney movies get a nod as well. |
| Favorite music | I'm pretty eclectic. I love old and new of pop (Janet Jackson's Control was my favorite tape-yes, I'm that old, growing up. Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall, Maroon 5, One Repbulic, etc.) Rock: Bon Jovi, U2, Billy Joel, Counting Crows-a favorite in high school). Country: Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban (LOVED that concert!) Rascal Flats, Faith Hill, and lots of others. Alternative: Matchbox 20 (Rob Thomas rocks!) Evanescence. Vocal: Josh Groban (I'm pretty sure I single-handedly jump started his fame in California. After seeing him on Ally McBeal, I tracked him down, bought his CD and passed them out to friends and family. He's amazing) Barbra Streisand is a family favorite, and Enya is a classic. And I enjoy some good funky dance music when I'm dancing with my kids or exercising. And I will unashamedly admit that I own at least 10 American Idol albums. |
| Favorite books | Whatever I'm currently reading. I really enjoy any book with a good storyline and some character development. I like historical books like The Hiding Place, Diary of Anne Frank, and historical fiction like The Work and the Glory and These is My Words (a MUST read!) and ones during WW II, for some reason. I like classics like To Kill a Mockingbird, Grapes of Wrath, etc, and Jane Austen! I'll admit I'll read just about anything that has a good romance story that isn't trash. Some other favorites are Three Weeks with My Brother, The Posionwood Bible, and the Harry Potter series. |
