| Introduction | “Why Tatiana?” Well, when Bridie and I first moved in together I had a large steamer trunk. When I pulled it out of the truck, Bridie exclaimed, “Oh, Tatiana.” Bridie started calling me Tatiana whenever I did something that seemed particularly Russian to her. This included any time I exhibited abnormal strength, waited in line for bread, wore a bandana on my head or beat our rugs in front of the house. So, when I was asked to stop blogging the Devil Wears Brooks Brothers, but told I could continue to blog using a fake name, Tatiana was a top contender. I also liked that it was similar to Tatum, the fake name I used in college. Of course, Tatum never brought me anything but trouble. Hopefully Tatiana won’t. For those of you who used to read the Devil, you will know Bridie as Lauren. Also coming over from the Devil, New Boss (Bosley), Imelda (Natalie), Angel (Theresa), Double Tall Espresso (Marie) and I am sure there are others, but those are the important ones. And of course, Mom and Dad are here, as are Sister (Lana) and Brother (Ivan). |
