Introduction I started the practice of Pranayama when afflicted by ischemic heart disease in 1987. This was a turning point in my life and led to the path of holistic healing. Healing this 'incurable' disease spurred me on to explore other inner growth practices. For more than two decades, I have been practicing pranayama, deep relaxation, meditation and other techniques with remarkable benefits. I quit my job and started living in Auroville to explore alternate modes of living. Facilitating Personal Growth programs is very interesting to me and more than a thousand people participated in my workshops/retreats. I studied in AU College of Engineering (B.E) and IIT, Kharagpur (M.Tech). I served in the Indian Navy from 1970 to 1991 and received the Visisht Seva Medal from the President of India. Prior to joining Auroville, I worked for 16 years in top R&D management positions such as the Director of R&D of D-Link India, JCPE of CRISP/IISc, Vice President(Software) of Cirrus Logic India and General Manager (R&D) of BPL Telecom Ltd. I was a Seminar Leader in Landmark Education from 2000 to 2003.
