| Introduction | Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a follower of Jesus Christ and owner of Flumgummerie Farm. I am a city girl, born and raised near the beach, living in the rural foothills of North Carolina with my husband and 3 homeschooled children. I am caretaker extraordinaire to 3 dogs, 3 cats, 25 chickens, Nubian goats, and Katahdin sheep. The closest I ever came to raising animals was feeding a stray cat we named, Domino. Once I owned a hamster that shall remain nameless. It bit me and I wouldn't touch it after that. This was a bit of a nuisance for my family since the darn thing escaped so often. So it is a mystery and a source of some amusement for them now to see how my life has unfolded. |

Radio wire is often used to make bird nests. What station do they listen to?
I find the bluejays, woodpeckers and ravens like classic rock and easy listening, while the blue birds, cardinals and finches prefer classical. I do have one particular hummingbird who seems to be partial to Il Divo's rendition of Amazing Grace.
