| Introduction | Currently I am serving in New York with Youth With A Mission Cornerstone. Your prayers… your support is greatly needed and is immensely appreciated, while I am serving here in New York. YWAM is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced "WHY-wham"), our purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known. Just a little more than 130 years ago a businessman named Jeremiah Lamphier started one small prayer meeting in New York that became a vehicle to an un-ending prayer meetings all over the city, the nation and the entire world! What if, in the present generation, we would take up Lamphier’s mantle and instead of a one hour prayer meeting we began to lift up continuous prayer, praise and worship to Jesus Christ - just because he is worthy of it! New York has a gift to the world - the Gateway of Hope for the Nations! |
