| Introduction | Hi I'm Charlsey I love decorating (Shabby Chic Cottage Vintage style) I love collecting vintage old things. I enjoy looking for what I call a "good deal". A good deal to me is when I find something (antique or collectible) either below or at the price I am willing to pay. I love to spend time online as well as on ebay or craigslist or independent sites.I don't get to go to estate sales often but have no problem stopping and picking up a treasure along the side of the road. I go to as many flea markets as I can. I travel frequently which brings me to different towns with some great antique malls.I'll be photographing some of my visits. I recently sold my 1880's Victorian home and now have more of a Farmhouse style 1908' so I sold 90% of my things I just wanted a fresh start!I had collected some of my things for 20yrs.I just wanted to start fresh.I really want it to fall together. It's a work in progress and half the fun for me is the hunt.This way I really buy the things I like. Some of the things I sold I should have kept and some of the things I kept I should have sold. MY MAIN DECORATING THEME IS WHITE. |
| Interests | I love flea markets and garage sales and ebay and my latest craigslist. I enjoy turning trash into treasure. I love old houses and value thier character.I currently live in a home that is 100 years old and I and my husband are in the process of renovating it. |
| Favorite movies | Gosh I love alot of them. A good SUSPENSE movie but not scary and always a LOVE story. |
| Favorite music | Soft rock,r and b,alittle jazz, Contemporary Chistian and Country and not necessarily in the order.It changes from day to day. |
| Favorite books | Books about Shabby Chic, Cottage style or Garden Style and definetly Flea Market finds and just in general decorating books and lots of magazines. Various magazines. |
