Introduction	Welcome to my pet portrait blog. Acrylic on canvas. My name is Becky Kidd and I am a animal lover. My favorite is dogs. I have five at the moment. Four Shih Tzu and one Great Dane. You will be seeing paintings and pictures of them from time to time. I was brought up with dogs and can't remember living without one. We also have a cat. I really enjoy painting and love my passion of painting animals. I was brought up in Buffalo, NY but now live in Ga. I love the south and the warm weather.I married a wonderful man who is a Ga peach. I have 2 beautiful daughters. We enjoy our family time including the dogs. I have been painting for about 10 years. I was in the Antique and Collectible business for 12 years. I would paint on old windows and sell them at the shop where I was a dealer. I also have painted many murals in homes and on the outside of buildings and store fronts. I began to take art classes with a group of friends and discovered my love of painting animals. It makes me smile everytime I start painting the eyes because the animals all seem to come to life. I paint the animals from a picture. My customers send me a favorite photo of their pet and I take it from there.
