| Introduction | I held my first camera in high school as the student photographer for the yearbook. From that moment, I was passionate about capturing the world around me on film. I've always focused my camera on the human experience, observing life as it happens around us. First with family and friends, then as my skills began to grow, people would ask me to make a portrait of them or to photograph their wedding. This is where my pursuit for photographic excellence was born. Throughout my career, I have had the great fortune of working with some wonderfully talented artists who have been generous with their time and knowledge. With hard work, dedication and the teachings of some of the best, I've evolved my style into what is referred to today as photojournalism. I am able to capture all the emotions of a wedding day as an active observer, not as a director of events. My portrait studies bring out true character, creating a unique work of art that is destined to be a family heirloom. |
