| Introduction | I am a Montessori Upper Elementary teacher at the Barrie School, a small, nonsectarian, private school in Silver Spring, Maryland. I've been teaching for 18 years and counting. I've also taught in Barrie's Middle School as a 6th and 7th grade Humanities teacher. This is my second career, after ten years in government.
