Introduction	Hello, my name is Kate Cabrera and I am a self-taught pianist and composer. I have been writing music since the age of nine and hope to continue doing so for a very long time. I live on a lovely farm with my family in the hills of North Carolina, and much of my inspiration comes from the beauty of the land we live on. I plan to use this blog as a sort of diary, which I hope you will enjoy reading.
Interests	Music and Music Composition, Theatre, Letters (writing them AND receiving them :), reading, hunting, fishing, farming, spending time with my family, the military (particularly special forces)
Favorite movies	Somewhere in Time, Titanic, North and South, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Phantom of the Opera
Favorite music	A little bit of everything, though especially stuff from the eighties
Favorite books	Classics, non-fiction books on war and the military, (its training, leaders and heroes) and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (an all-time favorite:)
