Introduction	I am a retired teacher and John is a home improvement contractor. We live in Louisville, Kentucky. We have two sons, Matthew and Mark and we love them dearly. For the past few years we have been hosting and supervising foreign exchange students. Our first (FE) son is named Henrik Markmann and he is from Germany. Next is Thomas and he is from Austria but will be coming to the US in August. Florian is from Germany and he will be visiting us this summer and I can't wait. Luisa is our only girl and I sure miss her. She's probably the only girl I could get along with in my house.
Interests	Hosting exchange students, visiting the Amish, being active in church.
Favorite movies	My favorite movie is Fried Green Tomatoes, and John's favorite movie is Joe vs The Volcano, The Shootist and Dances With Wolves.
Favorite music	We both love Gospel and folk music.
Favorite books	The Bible, Amish books, and biographies about famous people in History.
