| Introduction | I am Natalia Jaffee, a 10th grader living in Hanoi, Vietnam. I attend the United Nations International School of Hanoi. Vietnam is definitely a country that could use help with road behavior, and living there allows me to witness the wild situations occurring on the roads every. Until then I lived in Potomac, MD, not ever witnessing such circumstances on the road. It took a lot of time getting used to it, and after riding my bike to school every day, I have begun to adapt to the roads and now ride in the midst of the heavy traffic. During the summer of 2011, I interned at ASIRT (Association for Safe International Road Travel) and learned about how to be safe on the roads while abroad. With this blog I hope to share my experiences with everyone and allow them to know what living abroad in a less developed country is really like. |
