Introduction	I am not very eloquent while writing about myself. I think I would like to characterize myself as 'A Dreamer'. Besides that I am just like any other person who likes to cherish the joy of living. In doing that I am sometimes faced with tough riddles of life but it's the pleasure to solve the riddles that makes my journey worthwhile. And also the wait to reach my destiny gives me the required courage to keep going.

Favorite music	Soft instrumental(both western & indian - specially piano, violin & sarod), John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Eagles, John Denver, Eric Clapton, Elton John, ABBA, Beatles, BSB, Bryan Adams, Westlife, MLTR, Alison Krauss, Alanis Morissette, Old hindi & bengali movie songs, Rabindrasangeet.
Favorite books	All time favorites Sherlock Holmes & Poirot, The Alchemist, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, Stranger by Albert Camus, To kill a mocking bird, classics by Alexander Dumas, Thomas Hardy, Jules Verne, Leo Tolstoy, Gabariel Garcia Marquez.. I love reading poems by Pablo Neruda, and recently Octavio Paz...and poems of W.B. Yeats, Shelley, H.W. Longfellow, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost...In Bengali I love novels my Tarashankar Banerjee, Sharatchandra Chatterjee, R.N. Tagore, Bibhutibhushan Banerjee, historical novels by Sharadindoo Banerjee. Amongst bengali poets, I do love surrealistic poems by Jibonananda Das.. and in general all poems by R.N. Tagore..Like reading Short stories by R.N.Tagore, Maupassant, Leo Tolstoy & Chekhov..ok, I guess I have put up quite a long list :)
