| Introduction | What is a Skiffgirl you say? Well I grew up commercial fishing on a Salmon Seiner in Alaska. When I was 15 my dad had me start running the skiff and normally the position is called the "skiffman" Well I didn't like the title as it did not have enough pizzaz for me and I started calling my self the skiffgirl. It stuck. I am a wife , I am Mom to our daughter, 2 dogs, a cat and 7 chickens. I am a daughter and big sister. I am a caring person by nature. I love the water and being on it. I love the smell of the ocean when the waves have been crashing on the shore for a while. I love feeling free to just ride wherever I want to go and not having to worry about when I get back. I love to curl up with a good book and read till it is done. I love to garden. I love having a clean house but I hate to have to clean it. I hate conflict. I hate being told that I can't do something and I hate being told I am wrong. |
