Introduction	I am passionate about all types of fibre! I started sewing in 1988 when my twin girls were born. Making all of their clothes from pj's to coats laid a foundation as a competent sewer. In 1998 we moved to Florida from Canada, a stepping stone for my husbands career. With new found free time I was bitten by the quilting bug. I spent many hours learning the techniques and how to's of becoming a successful quilter. Just the beginning though, because quilting was too structured for me. So I began to venture with my creativity, breaking rules and creating original pieces. A family member welcomed me to join the local Fibre Arts group :) OMG Combining quilting with beads, fibres, threads, yarns, dying, .... weaving, knitting has opened my door to endless possibilities. I have more stash and ideas than I have minutes left in this life time.
Interests	Avid flat water kayaker. My dogs Sammy and Farley are a big part of my day. I like the simple life and find beauty in everything around me. Enjoy people and sharing with them the pleasures of creating. I can be very content on my own working and playing with fibres.
