| Introduction | We are Chris and Amanda Walker, and we are the Modern Nomads. This name came out of a statment made by Chris while we were dating. He asked Amanda where she had lived after college, and her answer was: "Actually, I've been a nomad." He affirmed his nomadic lifestyle as well. So on January 16, 2010, these two nomads decided to marry each other and become the "Modern Nomads." We currently live in Ruston, LA and minister at Cook Baptist Church. We love to travel, see new places, discover new cultures, and take long walks on the beach (OK...not really). Our most often question asked is: "How long do you plan to be here?" And our most often response is: "Until God moves us." We would love for you to join us on our journey through this blog. You never know where we might show up. :) |
