Introduction	Ya, sure, I am Lori Franklin, mixed-media artist/instructor from northern Minnesota, and welcome to my merry little world! I have been feeding my soul with color and paint for as long as I can remember...it just makes me so HAPPY. I have been teaching mixed-media classes - well, they were all different types of rather, um unorthodox? classes that used all kinds of materials... so I am ecstatic to 'find my tribe' in the mixed-media art community! I am blessed with a wonderful husband who stayed married to me despite the fact that in our first year together, I painted his gray staircase bright yellow. I am grateful for the creative time i can spend in my little pink loft studio, creating folk-art illustrations that tumble forth faster than I can keep up.I am grateful to live close enough to my parents to have been a caregiver for my mom who passed away recently, and so grateful for the lessons learned from her... One of the most important being to just live happily. Every day is a gift.
