| Introduction | I'm fascinated by neural networks and how they give rise to the behaviours, thoughts, feelings, personalities, etc of us and other animals, but when I started studying them, I didn't know much maths. This was a pain because it seems that almost everyone who explains about them just does so by way of equations and then expects us all to know what that means.
