| Introduction | Sweet Cakes & Honey Buns is named after my two daughters Nia & Carina. My husband and I call our girls NiaCakes and CarinaBuns as our term of endearment for them. My two girls & my husband are my inspiration for what I do. I've had a passion for baking since I was a young child. I started with my little Holly Hobbie oven, where I would bake small cakes and brownies with a 100 watt light. I moved on to my mom's kitchen where I would bake assorted homemade cookies any chance I could get. Now I bake for every occasion that allows me to. I started taking decorating classes at a local bakery and realized I had a true passion for it. I couldn't wait to make my next creation. It allowed me to put two of my favorite things together, "baking & creativity". |
