Introduction	Hello. My name is Angelique Weathersby. I have been working as a registered nurse since 1981, and have been in critical care my entire nursing career, including intensive care, coronary care, trauma nursing, and perianesthesia nursing. I have worked in the PACU at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center since 1984. I also worked in nursing informatics for 15 years in marketing and education. I'm a lifelong learner, and am currently a graduate student in the MSN program at Cal State, San Bernardino. I will be transitioning from clinical nursing to teaching for my retirement career. My main topics of interest are 1) the orientation of new nurses to perianesthesia nursing, 2) cardiac disease in African American woman, and 3) information literacy in nursing. I am taking an educational technology class this quarter, and as part of my class project, have started this blog to document the process of starting a new local PANAC chapter for perianesthesia nurses.
