| Introduction | At 32 I thought my life was set. I was enjoying traveling to exotic places and buying expensive unnecessary shoes. This past May after returning from Spain, my boyfriend of 2 and a half years and I, decided to have some time apart. Let me mention my boyfriend is 24 (you do the math). If only we had stuck to the plan of being apart, instead of occasional dinners and frequent sleepovers. Well, guess what happened? I am now 28 weeks pregnant. My mom used to say God has a sense of humor and boy does he. I don’t know the first thing about babies AND my due date is April Fool’s Day. Go Figure. After weeks of begging by friends, I finally went to a baby store. Five minutes inside I needed a paper bag to breathe into after seeing how much stuff is a baby needs! Do you really need that much stuff to have a baby? Based on my 3 best friends YES you do. So I am just getting started with my adventures of baby buying. This blog is dedicated to my personal challenge with being pregnant but the joy I have found during it. Don't get me wrong, although this pregnancy was unexpected I am very happy about my baby. The old cliche is true, a baby changes your whole life...in an amazing way! |
