| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! With this site, I plan to do a few things. First, tell my Army story. I am proud veteran. I was wounded by an IED in Tal Afar, Iraq in 2006. In the blast, a young man by the name of PFC Jody W. Missildine was killed. I will never forget him. Today, I am a single father of 2 amazing children. My goal is to live my life in a way that honors those who never came home. By being a good father, friend, and veteran. Second I'd like to address the issue that faces many veterans after returning from war. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. I hope to encourage others who need help, to seek help. To let them know that there is always someone willing to listen. That you can always do one more thing. To help others realize, that in order to move on in life, there are somethings you must let go of. Get ready for the ride, because this is gonna be great! |
