Introduction	My father is Kenyah while my mother is Sa'ban. That makes me of mixed parentage where I can rightly lay claim to a rich multi-cultural and traditional heritage. One positive angle to this is that I am multi-lingual. I am able to speak comfortably in Kenyah, Sa'ban, Kelabit, English and Bahasa Malaysia, to name a few. My priority in life, in addition to raising a family and being professionally employed, is to help my people particularly the younger generation. I feel there is a vital necessity for them to up-grade themselves in all aspects of life, both in the modern sense as well as from their respective racial backgrounds. In this respect I see education playing a leading role towards achieving these goals. At the time of writing I am actively involved in helping raise funds for the construction of a church in my community in the deep interior
