| Introduction | As of end of 2011, it will be 10 years since I started working. When I first taking up the job as an analogue/mixed signal designer, I thought I was ready, I have done well in my academic years, attended plenty of classes, read through plenty of books. The fact was that I wasn’t ready at all. Pretty soon I came to realize that even a simple inverting opamp circuit did not work as it should. Frankly speaking, that hurts. Having walked the tough journey alone, I am well aware that how tough this path (being an analogue/mixed signal designer) can be, and no wonder few folks taking up this path. So it has been a while since I have the thoughts of sharing out my experience with those beginners out there. Hopefully by sharing the interesting experiences, knowledge that I have learnt, someone out there will find it helpful. |
