| Introduction | Mother of 4, Bookseller since 1967, mail order book sales since 1986, had a bookstore in Chicago 1967- 1980, wrote for and sometimes edited a Chicago alternative publication Second City (not connected with the theatre nor the comedy group) have worked as an auditor and as salesperson selling sewing machines, newspaper advertising, and door to door sales of household products, helped distribute political and alternative publications in 3 states, edited copy and helped distribute record albums for a small recording company, worked for an employment agency getting jobs for other people, had a bookstore in Mentone, Alabama, 1989- 1996, I have picked and hoed cotton and worked in the fields harvesting turnips and other produce, I was a high school dropout who much later acquired a GED and took a few college courses, mostly self-educated, a continuing process |
