| Introduction | I am a Politics PhD student at Lancaster University in the UK, who is originally from Blackpool. I have also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching Politics seminars to first-year undergraduates. My research focuses on neoliberalism as an ideology, the neoliberal political economy and liberal political theory. I have a moderate form of cerebral palsy and I am a member of the LGBT+ community. Between 2016 and 2021, I have served on the Council of the Social Liberal Forum, a centre-left pressure group linked to the Liberal Democrats. My additional personal interests include science fiction, history and Buddhism. |
