About me

Location New York, NY
Introduction In 1879, a controversial door was slammed. In 1982, a musical faced a history-making flop on Broadway. For the first time in theatrical history, The Beautiful Soup Theater Collective presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Nora Helmer in two very different ways on the same day. Two different directors and two different actresses will explore one of Ibsen's most fascinating characters. "A Doll's Life" returns to the New York stage for only the third time since its 1982 debut on the Great White Way. A DOLL'S HOUSE by Henrik Ibsen, directed by Cristina Carrion running in repertory with A DOLL'S LIFE: the musical with book and lyrics by Betty Comden & Adolph Green and music by Larry Grossman, directed by Steven Carl McCasland Kymberly Tuttle (A Doll's House) and Mallory Berlin (A Doll's Life) star as Nora in two looks at Ibsen's history-making play.
