Introduction I have had many opportunities in my life. I have a strong long term (13 years so far) supportive relationship with my husband and have been involved in community life for most of my life. I have friends I have known for years and my education as a social worker has allowed me to work with many people in distress and see them tap into their potential and improve their lives. I have had access to and read hundreds of books on health, personal development and spirituality. I have access to the resources and the time to study with great teachers. This path has led me to study non violent communication a way of communicating, understanding and living life that works very well for me. Developed by Marshall Rosenberg; NVC offers an alternative path to the life killing way we currently function in our society. His ideas have profoundly changed my life. I went from being an angry aggressive teenager whom a court judge once branded as 'un enfant avec une villaine charactere' to knowing happiness, joy and peace. I would like to offer this blog as a way of sharing what I have learned so far in life in the hopes that what I write might inspire compassion and joy for people.
