| Introduction | With the experience of playing professional cricket, captaining a County Cricket team, coaching cricket and rugby at junior and senior levels and also after twenty-four years as a schoolmaster and Headmaster before becoming Secretary & Chief Executive MCC in 1994, I am keen to add my voice to the many comments that are made about cricket and education.
