| Introduction | I'm a Dutch-Australian poet and have been writing and editing poetry since the 1970s. I'm interested in postcolonial writings, and my own experience as a migrant (child) to Australia has prompted me to articulate migration and displacement realities. In my latest collection of poems "Princes by night" I move backwards and forwards from the Dutch colonial narrative to my own reality as a second generation Dutch migrant in Australia. |
