Introduction	My father was a song writer and lyricists, growing up I watched him as he put beautiful poetry to music. He would often ask our help if he was stuck and needed a different word. From time to time as a family we would collaborate and make up silly poems. I never considered myself a poet and never gave it much thought. Recently I was having some very personal struggles and began writing my feelings out on paper. At first I would write and then destroy them as a way of ridding my mind of the pain. Then I began to really enjoy and appreciate some of the things that were filling the paper and began to save them. I started this blog for myself as a place to write feelings that are too hard to express and shouldn't be kept inside. It is my therapy. If you've stumbled across it I hope that my words can touch you in a way that helps you to experience your world a little better.
