| Introduction | I am 43 year old guy who is married to his best friend. We have two sons- our first is in heaven with the Lord. Bobby died on July 23, 2005 due to an accidental drug overdose. We miss him immeasurably. Our second son, Brian- is 14. He's a native of Indonesia, but very much the son of our hearts. I spend my days helping people draw close to God through the real struggles of life. I'm not here to take your problems away or help you forget them, but rather to companion you as you learn to let them push you into intimacy with God. I am tired of cliche, empty religion, but I believe that Christ is the greatest hope of mankind. I live with chronic physical issues that don't define me as a person, but they often slow me in ways that I might not otherwise slow myself. While I don't love them, I am immensely grateful for the ways they teach me to trust. |
