| Introduction | I have been interested in politics for over 40 years. I pay attention to politics and public policy. I believe politics is important to our daily lives . . . even if it may not be readily apparent. Like a good marriage, democracy needs work and attention to make it strong and supportive. I have voted for all 3 of the major Canadian parties at various times and been a card-carrying member of one for a short period of time.
