| Introduction | My name is Perry Noel Hubbard. I live in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Canada. My wife Debbie and I have been married since 1981. We have three children, Meghan-(b.1983); Nolan-(b.1987); and Emily-(b.1989). Meghan is married to Aaron and they have two sons, Treyton Perry (b.2009), Ryker Paul Nolan (b. 2017), and one daughter, Ava Cecile Rose (b.2011). Nolan and his wife Kara have two teenage children Chase and Morgan aged 18 and 14. Emily is employed as a Marketing Analyst. I have had many vocations, in my 50+ years. I spent many years in the retail lumber industry and over a decade in facility maintenance. I have been submitting a weekly column called "In My Humble Opinion" to our local newspaper, The Kipling Citizen. I have a great long-term memory and I like to draw on my life's experiences to write humorous articles. I am an optimist, I am left of center politically, I love all sports and still play competitive baseball, hockey and I golf as often as I can. I want to share my writing and my hope is that people will enjoy what I have to say and how I say it. If I was lucky enough to turn it into my latest vocation I would be a very happy man. |
