Introduction	Besides hating to run, we have lots of other things in common... we both love volleyball (that's actually how we met) and enjoy a variety of other sports. Athena's one you'd want to steer clear of on the rugby field, while Kendra prefers the more genteel handshaking of tennis. Athena has recently introduced the kayak to Kendra, who is now anxiously awaiting the return of summer. We also enjoy singing, although we make a funny duet, both singing alto. We enjoy reading and discussing books--most importantly the Bible-- and can often be found putting down the other's denominational upbringing (all in fun, we pretend). To pay the bills, Kendra is a dental hygienist and Athena is a social worker. We love our jobs, and the fact that we get to sit all day. : ) Most importantly, our common thread is our sisterhood in Jesus Christ. Not only are we training for a 26.2-mile-marathon, but we are running the race of life set before us, both seeking to reach the finish line of heaven still standing. We want to make our Trainer and Sustainer proud.
