| Introduction | In my 30’s, I learned a concept new to me called “present moments.” Instead of moving through life like a robot, I trained myself to be aware of what was happening in my life as it was occurring. I was amazed at the life lessons all around me … just waiting for me to understand them. I began to jot down notes. After a week or two, I would sit at the computer and make little stories out of the notes … at least the ones I could figure out. Some of those lessons were lost forever, because I didn’t put down enough words to revive the memory. Now I plan to pass those “life moments” on to you on a regular basis through this blog. Many of you may have already learned them years ago. But I just bet there is a person or two who needs to learn about “present moments”, just as I did … and am still working on. I am wife to a wonderful husband of 30 years, with four children and five grandchildren. We own our own business … and I still work as a bookkeeper at an appliance store. But retirement is on the horizon. Let’s have fun as we take a peek at every day things in a new and different way. |
