Introduction I'm just a girl making a feeble attempt with my words to bring glory to God and to bring hope to those in need. I still don't have it all figured out, but I know the One who does. I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue on April 15, 2016. I'm not a smoker or heavy drinker, so we have no idea where I got it. I began chemo in June. I was told it was a very brutal regimen of three meds. But God... After only two rounds my tongue is almost back to normal. I can talk like normal and can eat anything I feel like...even though I have to use small bites. I do have nausea the week of chemo. But God is working and healing me daily! I feel God calling me to ministry. It's a long held dream I've had that I've not really shared with anyone. I would love to write and speak to women's and teen groups. And I can tell He is leading me that way. What the enemy meant to harm me, He is turning into a beautiful story full of purpose. Please pray for me. I'm so humbled that He would choose me, and but I'm so honored to serve Him as long as He will let me. And my prayer is that when I stand before Him, I will hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
