| Introduction | “We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams...” I think (if such things existed) I should have been a dryad. The overwhelming beauty of nature makes me ridiculously happy, and I'm always looking for an excuse to be outside. I'm always eager to participate in Bible studies that really make me dig into scripture. I can frequently see God at work in my life - everything has a purpose. The simplest things make me happy. A cup of coffee. A good book. Dancing candle flames. Love. Sunshine. I married the love of my life in 2006, and I'm still loving every step of the journey. I inherited a wonderful son in the process, and he is now a seven-year-old bundle of knowledge. He manages to keep me on my toes - laughing, learning, loving. Our daughter Emily is a smiling, affectionate, quick-witted four-year-old who changes every day and leaves a trail of sunshine wherever she goes. Miss Ava was born in July of 2009, and we don't know how we ever thought life was complete without her. She's our comic relief. Every day is made a little better by Ava's dimpled smile, happy eyes, and ready hugs. I feel truly blessed. |
