| Introduction | I was born in the Ohio River Valley to a Renaissance man and woman of Heart & Mind. They encouraged me in all things Arty. Words, Music, visions of sugarplums, Schulz and twin lens reflexes. Supernatural evidence dazzled my preverbal psyche. Craving. Dodging. Praying. Fugi Mountain to fruited plain. The sacred and profane. From the Far East on my long way west to a City of Angels I stalled in the sometime simmering, oft time stifling, prairie. With a frail Telecaster, a pale punk who was going to be a monk. I’ve rocked, I’ve rolled. I danced before a demi-god in the desert. Beauty breaks and liberates me.
