Industry Consulting
Occupation Registered Dietitian
Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Introduction I am a Registered Dietitian who offers nutrition consulting to individuals, corporations and media. Registered Dietitians are health professionals who have met national standards for education and training. They are members of a provincial regulated profession that have Public Protection as their mandate. Dietitians are held accountable for their conduct and care they provide. As a member of The College of Dietitians of Ontario (www.cdo.on.ca), I respect and honour my responsibilities to provide the highest quality of care. Qualifications in nutrition consulting are confusing because the more common terms Nutritionist and Registered Nutritionist are not protected by law in Ontario, so people with different levels of training and knowledge can call themselves a "Nutritionist". Consulting with a Registered Dietitian ensures quality of care.
