Introduction	Wife, mother, teacher, and avoider of all forms of exercise for 40 years. I woke up one morning in November 2012 and felt all Forrest Gump-y and started NHS Couch to 5k. I eat cake and chips and cookies. I love trying new recipes and cooking with and for friends and family. I'm not fast. But I'm happy. And I can run further than I ever thought possible. I have run 5ks, 10ks, 10 milers, half marathons, and a full marathon.
Interests	reading, writing, camping, theater, music, movies
Favorite movies	I LOVE movies of all kinds! I love The Empire Strikes Back, The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge!, and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Favorite music	I really love all kinds of music - I sometimes have a hard time with country and opera. I particularly love Trip Shakespeare, U2, and R.E.M.
