| Introduction | I have been married for 36 years. I am a mom of two by birth, Ashleigh and Michael, and one by marriage to my daughter, Joey, and a grandmother "MiMi" to two precious little boys and one sweet granddaughter. John Franklin is 8 years old and my other sweet little fellow, Jackson Thomas who is 6 years old. My granddaughter, Norah Jane is 3 years old. I love and enjoy this life that I have been richly blessed with. September 10, 2018, I was diagnosed with Bilateral Breast Cancer. I started chemotherapy on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018. Now, I am two years removed from my diagnosis. I had infused chemotherapy that almost killed me, I had a double mastectomy, I went through 6 weeks of radiation treatments, and then I went through 6 months of oral chemo. I am now on a light chemo pill for hormone suppression. I'm a Truth seeker ~ family lovin'~ God serving ~ teacher of gratitude ~ embracing the extraordinary in the ordinary. I am sharing my journey as I give God the praise and glory. |
| Interests | I love to sing, listen to music, sew, craft/create, read, study the Holy Scriptures, walk, travel, mission work, and especially love spending time with my family doing "anything." |
