About me

Introduction	I am a 44 year old, 7 year breast cancer survivor and activist. This year I will be participating in my 7th Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. Over the past years I have raised over $225,000 for Komen. In addition, I am a high school English teacher, wife to a fabulous guy, and mom to tween twin girls and an energetic teenage son. My passion is finding a cure for cancer by raising funds and awareness through the non-profit I founded with my dear survivor friend, Patty.
