Introduction	Hello! My name is Kristen Cantu. I am an aspiring English Language Arts teacher. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2013. I have a B.A. in the History of Art and Visual Culture. Although I have yet to work in a formal classroom setting, I have a great deal of experience tutoring during after school hours. I enjoy working with children and young adults, and I have always enjoyed reading. Reading is actually a favorite pastime of mine. I enjoy reading period pieces, fantasy novels, and graphic novels. I come from a long line of teachers. My family is very supportive, and over the years I have come to share their passion. I hope to one day implement what I have learned in my classes at National University in a classroom of my own.
