| Introduction | Hello, my name is Nero. I am a great emperor who ruled the greatest empire in the world: Rome! I am very badly viewed by my fellow Romans, and most of them liked me at the beginning of my life, but now they REALLY don't like me. I was emperor during a bad time, and was blamed for a lot of it. In my time as ruler the Circus Maximus, the chariot racing circle, caught fire. Many people blamed me for not doing anything, when in actuality, I let people use my gardens for shelter. People kept on blaming me so I had to shift the blame... I blamed the new religious group, the Christians. But people caught on and soon I was driven to commit suicide in June 9, A.D. 68. |
