Introduction I'm have been interested in cooking since I was a child. Even though my mom worked full-time and had 4 kids, she still found time to bake cookies, grow her own produce, preserve her harvest and cook wonderful meals! My first job at age 15 was making fresh take and bake pizza. At 17, I worked in a grocery store in the deli and that's where I learned the art of cooking. Thanks to Linda and Sharon for their patience and mentoring! They also taught me aspects of catering. In my 20's I would throw elaborate Christmas parties for my friends, trying new recipes and totally spoiling them with my cooking. In my late 30's I became a mom and a step-mom. I continued to cook, bake and pass on the teaching to my new son! In my 40's, my husband and I built our first house so I had the opportunity to design my "cooks kitchen". We have been in the house for three weeks and I am LIVING in the kitchen...enjoying the space and the opportunity to again create wonderful food for my family and friends.
