Introduction Dahlia Liwsze is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in publications, which include the Let's Connect newsletter, Open File, The Ottawa Sun, (Cult)ure magazine, Suite 101, Centretown News, Il Postino, The Concordian, The Link, and The Suburban. In addition to freelancing at The Ottawa Sun and The Concordian, she proofread news copy and supplement material at the former and edited the features section at the latter. She has an Honours B.A. in English Literature and a Professional Writing (Honours) diploma, is the former Vice-President of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC), Ottawa Chapter, and a former member of PEN Canada and the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC), Ottawa Chapter. She has also edited two books to date. She is passionate about many issues, which include freedom of speech/press, women's rights and issues, health (particularly mental health), culture, music/concerts, travel, literature/poetry, culture, and animals.
