IntroductionAs a caregiver, Cat underfeeds Chev. His diet was initially vegan (a few times vegetarian and he has eaten chicken 2 times because of Daddy) but was switched to a raw diet varying from 80% to (more recently) 95% raw. Studies have shown that rats live longest when underfed (and humans being similar to rats, that is why it is tooted that under eating is the way to longevity). Studies have also shown that vegetarian rats live longer than non-vegetarian, vegans even longer, and raw ratties the longest. It is Cat's intention as a caregiver, knowing that almost all rats have mycoplasma, including the RAW RATTIE, to offer a diet that is as a nutrient dense as possible. Hopefully, symptoms of mycoplasma can be minimized with a raw food diet. However, Cat would like to know more about how a raw diet affects mycoplasma symptoms. Cat has read that many people eat raw at health centers because they are unwell and are then made better. Cat hopes that a diet in raw will be both preventive and perhaps healing.
