Introduction I'm your average 20-something southern girl who is obsessed with all things food. I am a cook, not a chef. Rarely a baker. Always thrifty. I like instant gratification recipies, not ones that take all afternoon. The longer the ingredients list, the less likely I am to make it. Because I don't believe you have to (nor do I want to)shell out a lot of money for good food. I think about food constantly. As I'm eating breakfast I am already planning my lunch menu. I also have a nasty little addiction to cookbooks and cooking magazines. I adore going out to eat and trying new places. Luckily for me, I married a man that has the same love for food. That said, I struggle with that internal nagging voice to eat healthy and exercise. This is a chronicle of my battle to eat GOOD FOOD, that's GOOD FOR ME.
